Whats it worth? 1953 airfloat travel trailer

I need some help providing evaluation or locating a Restoration company that might be interested in this. It's a 1953 airfloat travel trailer and has the 5th wheel helper axle. This is my dad's project that he abandoned and left in my yard for me to deal with. He has Rose colored glasses on and thinks it's worth $4-5k, I on the other hand think it only is worth scrap value maybe $1,500. I know they're worth big money fixed up but this is more project then value and would take a special buyer to want to tackle it . What are you guys think?

My neighbor sold a tiny shit box old travel trailer on offer up for $2500. It was nothing special, probably 10’ long inside, too short for me to stand up straight in. I was blown away. Just list it on facebook marketplace and offer up for 4k while you seek out the right buyer. Facebook Market place seems to be the best sale/buying platform ever, as you can find pretty much anything niche that youre looking for if you spend some time and adjust search radius around the country.

Ok so this has been bought and paid for however buyer is having trouble finding someone to haul from socal to Texas. Pretty sure there was a few members here that offered interstate towing, anyone know of someone I can recommend to him?

Doesn’t appear to be road worthy to make it to Texas.
