Last I checked, Bitcoin was at about $14,600, down from about 19,800 at some point last Sunday.

I haven't bought any, but I did blow the dust off the old Fidelity acct and start checking out stocks tied to Bitcoin. It's an absolute shit show. There are a few that are legit it seems, but then there's shit like this....an iced tea company that changed their name to include the buzzword of the day and their stock went from $2 to $8.40 instantly.

I bought a few seemingly legit stocks in companies involved with cryptocurrencies a few days ago and took a pretty good bath over the last 2 days as Bitcoin took a dive...we'll see what tomorrow brings.

If I remember right the $12,500 is the 50 day average. If it doesn't level off it may even go lower than $11,000. In the other thread I was thinking $10,000 to $8,000.

Unfortunately I own some that we bought at 18k. The crappy part was we were not buying it to make money but only so we could transfer in to XRP. However it took a huge dump the second we bought it. Oh well; you win some, you lose some.

Oh it will burst and I don't think that there is any question about that. I don't see it happening yet as there is still way too much buzz around it. But what do I know?

Considering it has gone up over 1500.00 in one hour this morning, a 7k drop in a day really doesn't concern me.

I tell you, everyone wants to hit home runs, I just like to take base hits.

Kinda like MLB. The Best Batter title is earned by guy with Highest Batting Average(measured by average of hits, not average of HRs). HRs are exciting, but need hits to increase their value. The 6 best HR years, were won unfairly, tainted and unearned by those nowhere to be found today. Stay consistent. The value of Hits always outweigh value of HR's.
