Whats a 2010 Raptor 250 worth?

ive been out of the off road scene for so long i have zero idea,

High end probably 3800

Nobody is buying right now.

Haven’t had a single call on our Raptor 50. Kids bike usually go really quick.

It’s actually pretty funny the people I’ve been running into lately with quads
One buddy has his original quadzilla that he went out and bought all new plastic and stickers when he bought it
But hardly used it
Another has Honda 250r that looks like showroom
Never even remember him riding it

Having "sport" quads, and horses, I can tell you a 700 was not really geared for it, or just not enough low end. Probably a Polaris trailblazer with the cvt would work for putting trails and drag detail.

Your pricing is spot on, raptor 250 is a great bike for kids

I paid $2500 for an ok condition stock le limited edition and $3200 for an ok condiition non le with some extras. 2 years ago . Neither was in killer condition. Not many come up for sale in the Denver metro.

I'd need to see more picks but if it cleans up and runs its worth $2800+

No. My buddy offered me the 700 he used once. But I passed. My Nieces and Nephews are to small for a 250. I did take the Rzr200 he had before he traded it in with the raptor. Could use another but no room to store it currently and finding one in the 4k range is not easy.

2500-3300 range. 400s aren’t super desirable

on 250s yamaha‘s are super desirable because they're transition bikes from 50-90s but they have a real clutch/gearing. Gets kids ready for real adult size toys.

honda and Suzuki 250s have the just slam it in gear set up. Their resale is decent and good for kids not quite ready for a real 250

We have one 250 Honda that is a “trainer” meaning you can use the clutch or not.. up to you

I had never seen anything like it before we got it. I think the other one is just a straight auto clutch but can’t remember now

Ya they’re (automatic) clutches on Honda and Suzuki. They can actually be kind of sketch, like if a kid doesn’t let off the throttle and bangs a gear it can wheelie and pitch a kid off real quick, lol
I suppose that’s a lesson too

They all have good life spans as long as semi taken care of. Resale Yamaha‘s tend get better money.
until you get to 450s then they’re all decently equal, then it changes with what’s been done
