Basic canvas storage cover with elastic around the edges. its starting to get a bit dingey looking from all the dust it kept off the boat over the last couple of years. I was thinking to just put it on the boat and scrub away but I dont like that idea at all. besides that everthing is spotless right now except the cover.

I take mine to my dry cleaner once a year. They charge about $80 (25') and it comes back looking like new.

Never, ever use detergents or soap.

Use the mega rug washer at the Laundrymat.
Use a cup of Fantastic instead of any other cleaners.

Use barely warm/gentle cycles.

Hang to dry, never use the dryer.

I"ve washed mine on a clean driveway with water and a brush. After scrubbing I hang it on my (open) garage door, rinse it off on both sides while hanging and let it drip. When it's damn near dry, take it off and put it on your boat. The final drying/shrinking kinda makes it a good fit on the boat.

I've done the same except my boat is 33' long. So I laid down 4 mil plastic first, then used Fantastic with a soft bristle brush. I used a pressure washer on the lowest setting to get everything clean. If using the pressure washer make sure extra care is taken on the threaded areas. I installed my wet cover on the clean boat. The Sunbrella material does shrink and is a pain in the ass to install when dried.

I've always washed mine at the local laundymat palce that has the largest
35# front loader washers.

using a mild detergent only, for normal wash cycle. then remove it, take it
home and put it on the boat to dry. hopefully in partial sun, and not in an
enclosed garage....

the cover always looks killer, and still fits the boat....... sunbrella....

--don't ever dry it in a dryer, and unless the cover is very large on the
boat don't just "hang" it up..
