i just was wondering how everyone came up with there screennames. some are whitty, some are obvious, and some are pretty obsucre.

HWlaser23

HW stands for Hardest Working and laser23 well.... there is the obv part.
i came up with that on the laveycraft fun run to catalina 3 years ago when i took my 23ft laser across the channel in 7' seas and 3 foot wind chop. i was workin the shit outta my poor little laser:p

One of my old co-workers started calling me that one day and it stuck. Went with this spelling because the obvious (Richie Rich) was taken for my e-mail address and wanted all my screen names to be the same on the different forums.

I got mine from falling asleep while I was a radio dj there was nothing playing for 1.5-2 hours. So my boss called me Mr. Deadair. It stuck.

mine kinda is easy for the folks that dont know the story, there is more to it than what it say..meaning milkmoney comes from-

i was born and raised in the milk buisness, started out on a dairy and when my parents retired in 1989, i was givin the option to take over and i said no thanks,(trust me lots of work.), so i went to work in the manufacturing/distribution side, so with that said i have been making my money from birth until i semi-retired in 2008 with the help of milk products.i have cleaned shit stalls, milked cows and feed cows etc, to operating multi-million dollar plants which included sweeping floors to making executive decisions which effect thousands of people..so there you have it, but remeber if you save your milk money you too can have a boat...:D and no needs for the names. i have heard them all ie:

milkman, milky, milkdud, milkdude, milkstud, dairy queen, milker, dairyfairy..:D

Back when Hotboat had just become free (it was originally a pay site), a guy asked a question about a Bravo drive.. I had just gone through the same ordeal.

I sat and waited for someone to answer him all day. Finally at the end of the day I just came up with a stupid name to answer the guys question, figuring that I would never post again..

That was about 10 years, and 40 - 50K posts ago. In retrospect, maybe I shouldn't have registered.. LOL

AGES ago i was jus leavin parker, comin out rice road, thru the twisty section. Im in my camry, and a HUGE azz ford truck (jus like the one i have now) passes me heading into parker. the lic plate says RVRMON* (* being the kids plate star symbol) I'm think'n that was bad azz!! And drove the rest of the way home with that plate in my head. Well, since i'm italian...

I got RVRMOB* for the plate on MY truck!

Anyone on here have that RVRMON* plate??? I've had this nick for ages...

Racey was my Grandmother's Maiden name, when she got married she became Madeline Racey Stenton, then my old man was born, he got into boat racing when he was in his early 20's, working for Casale and Brummett, and he figured it would be a cool name for his business when he started out on his own.

When my sister was born my dad wanted to name her Stacey Racey Stenton, but my mom said no way in hell her daughter was gonna be known as 'Stacey Racey'.... in hindsight they should have named her that, she's one crazy ass b!tch :D

for those who do not read both sites...

Hypnotiq was all the rage when we bought our boat. We brought a couple of ceremonial bottles with us on our maden voyage and shared them with GameTime.
When thinkin for a name for the boat the name kinda stuck, but we changed the last part to go with the boat/water.
Irionically we never really drank the stuff after our first season.

Mine goes back to my Jeepin Days (sprung over YJ on a high pinion 9" /44 setup full width and Q78's). Everytime i'd aproach something everyone would get out there cameras for some reason:skull

Ended up w/out a straight panel on the jeep (and it's hard to dent a hood) and one of the guys on a run kept telling me i was crazy and my last name is Hippy... so Crazyhippy became a CB handle, and then a Message board handle, and here i am:D

I'm a professional musician and I liked the play on words with what we all enjoy hearing when we start up the boat motor.
