Biggest was in a Lightning. Plenty of others in Mustangs.

75 Chevy short bed stepside... Mild 350 w/a gear drive, 350 auto... Midnight in an industrial complex in Newbury Park.. Wide sidewalk in front of the units, about 100 yds long, slick concrete. Full length one legged smoker... Got off the sidewalk and drove back to my friends unit and parked as the smoke enveloped the parking lot and a Sheriff car came around the corner out of the dark...He couldn't figure out where the tire smoke came from...

Have to say it was my Moms 1967 Mustang with HP 390 it had a automatic in it but you could drop it into first do a power burn out let off the brake and take off shift into 2nd and 3rd while still laying down rubber :D The guy my Dad bought this car off of use to Bracket race in at Lyons drag strip back in the day ......Car was to fast for my Mom so after she wrecked the front end my Dad sold it after it got fixed :( I should of bought it but picked up a 1971 Mustang Mach 1 ..... But hindsight I regret not buying it :(:(

Longest on average was my sleeper mustang. Wind it up in 1st, shift 2nd and roll out far enough you wouldn't here me purge:rolleyes:

Biggest was just a few years ago. Rockwells turning 46" mudders under a Navigator. Weird, tire speed was cartoonish slow, tons of smoke rolling off!

96 mustang. Burnout contest at irwindale. Destroyed a set of drag radials to the cords. Had burnt rubber EVERYWHERE.

1990 Ford Mustang Coupe. .30 over 302, e303 cam,gt40 intake, 4.10 gears and 295/50/15’s out back. Wish I still had that car. Hell I wish I had a picture of it.

Won the burnout contest at LACR around 2000.

1985, Rolling Hills High School parking lot, after graduation. It involved my ‘67 Camaro, a few text books and copious amount of bleach.

2006 V6 Mustang rental. Had 500 miles on it when I picked it up. rented for 3 days and turned it in with both rear tires down to the cords.

Had to swap the rear tires side to side on day 2. Scraped the rubber off the quarter panels with the windshield scraper before I turned it in.

Drifted it out onto the highway in front of a State Trooper and talked my way out of a ticket.

Some people called the fire department thinking there was a fire by our hotel the next day.

As a car guy who worked in the car industry for over 2 decades, it might seem odd to admit I’ve never roasted the tires in any car that I’ve owned.

But I’ve done it in plenty of cars that I didn’t own [emoji106]

At some cruise, there's always somebody wants me do a burnout in my Viper. They decline to offer tire replacement when i tell them how much they cost to replace if I'd do it for them, lol.Never been a fan of doing burnouts anyways.:p

1969 Plymouth roadrunner 440 removed the Mickey thompsons and put on a cheap small tire kept it going till the rear wheel hop chattered my fillings. then then went straight to the car wash to clear the evidence so dad did not whoop my ass when I came back home..... Good times.

Best was coming out of the fifty cents car wash on a Friday night. Lots of water from previous customers had built up out into the street. 452 ( stroked 400) 'Cuda with a 4 gear. Second gear, incinerating the tires for a bit, and slowly moving onto dry asphalt. Grabbed third and the rear U joint let go. Drive shaft put a hole in my floorpan and shrapnel broke someone else's windshield. I had just got paid and so I gave him $125 not to call the cops.

Stock from the factory with the indestructible Dana 60 and probably 4.10 gears. No extra charge.

A 1966 cutlass. We pulled the 330 out and put a 455 oldsmobile and turbo 400 in. The motor didnt fit under the hood. Thing was a burnout king.

My buddy had a 69.5 Roadrunner at Claremont High. 440/pistol grip etc...
He got an exhibition of speed ticket on Indian Hill in 79' for his burnout. Cop got the measuring wheel out and it was 286ft of BFgoodrich black stripes on the asphalt.
