I have a couple short blocks I'm thinking about selling and curious what you guys think they're worth.

First one is a 522 set up for boost and came out of a v-drive. Motor has low hours and good oil pressure.
Bowtie block with one sleeve
Brooks Aluminum rods
Ross postons
Forged Chevy crank
Arp head studs
Zero balance

Second one is brand new 540 also set up for boost.
Dart block
Eagle crank
Eagle rods
JE pistons and rings
ARP rod bolts, main bolts and head studs
Zero balance.

Let me know what you think.

Do you have any idea of what you would want for the 540? Is it built for a marine use or for hot rod use?

PM me if you prefer.

It was set up for marine and I'm honestly not sure what's it worth, which is why I posted this. I can tell you I put it on Craigslist for 3800 just to see what kind of response i get.

All parts brand new, plus machine work on block, balancing, no cam, damper or flywheel? Professionally assembled including clearances measured? Seems like $3800 is a give away, unless I am missing something.

yes, all new and professionaly assembled. No damper, cam or flywheel.

I do have a lot of other parts as well, if someone is looking for a more complete package.

*Initially I mentioned I would include the flywheel but I forgot i actually need it for another project.
