Doing my usual, "where the fuck else do I want to live because I'm over the crowded, crime, politics of this state..."

On trulia searching around the Boulder Nv area. Checking out the homes closest to the lake. I like to switch over to google maps to get street views of the homes and stuff and when I jumped into this street view this bitchen Hallet pops right up. Kinda funny. :D

Nice tow truck too.;)
wondering, what happened to Burt Court's white 40 with side door? He isn't posting anymore.

A buddy of mine owns the mostly red 40 Hallet with the door up front. Twin 575's. Bought it from the owner of Hallet that used had it out on Mead as his personal boat for a while. Kept it in a hanger with a bunch of other toys.

Ask Jhan, he'll tell you. It's the Beaubian's moms husband (99% sure). Can't recall his name but I do know he flies.

Rick’s Hallet right?

Just got a bunch of work done at Teague. Think it is 1050 EFI per side now.

I think that boat is "Concrete Outlaw" The Toneman family owns it. They own a concrete tilt-up building company out of palmdale or lancaster I believe.

That must be him. Burt lived in Rancho Cucamonga. He raced his 32 Spectra 'Kask & Cleaver' along Vic Edelbrock's #429 32 Spectra.
Here's Burt , RIP

Just what I was looking for. Good looking boat but not very straight sides out of the mold. That said it would be on my list if it was up for sale.

I bought a 32 Hallett from Burt. Super nice guy.
He kept the boat at Mead. We drove from NorCal to look at it. We met in the morning for breakfast which he picked up the tab for. Keep in mind that we had never met him before. We then follow him to his place to look over the boat. It was beautiful. Actually the boat that was on the brochure. Then we proceed to the lake for a water test. There were 4 in the boat, Burt, Nancy, my wife and myself. Typically a water test is a pretty short ordeal but not this one. We were on the lake for about 4 hours. Gave us a little tour and showed us his favorite spots. Then we put the boat back on the trailer and cleaned it up. Took it back to his place. Then he took us to Nick Barron’s place where the all red 40’er was out front on the trailer. We got to crawl all around that too. It was amazing. Then we proceed back to Burt’s where he said, “this is the time of day where I like to enjoy a beer, would you like one as well?” And of course I accepted. We ended up making the deal and buying the boat. I kept in touch a little but had not seen him for years. RIP Burt.

JP and Yvonne own this boat. They live in Palmdale, he is a concrete contractor who built Nicks last building. It is for sale... Teague 1200s and 6 drives. It is a regular at Hallett Beach(Long Beach) at Mead.

Great story! I didn't know Burt, but I met him a couple of times at various boating events. He came across as a great guy and whenever I saw him he was in a good mood. RIP Burt

Burt was a great guy. Grew up out at Mead with them. I'll never forget when he brought the first EZ UP out and the wind turned it into a nice scrap pile. Fred Inman and Herbst are two of the only OG guys left that we boated with.
