With a new house comes new furniture. Well looking online you see Wayfair. Questions is how is the quality? Anyone ever buy from them. Thoughts on quality, delivery? Any other concerns?

Go look at some views on YouTube. It’s hit and miss. I’ve got some outdoor furniture and they were fine. I’ve seen some people post horrible reviews as well.

For the indoor furniture I have from them, Quality is ok. Assembly is a bitch. A full executive desk came in an almost flat box. Took about 8 hours to put the set together.

I ordered a Tommy Bahama tv/stereo cabinet from them. It arrived damaged, so they sent me a new one. No pictures requested, no return necessary.

I deal with wayfair, restoration hardware and full blown custom furniture. You get what you pay for 9 outta 10 times. However you can get lucky every now and then. Ironically IKEA does a better job than most.

Our outdoor furniture from Wayfair has been great. 4 years old and still looks new.

I have remodeled several HOA Community clubhouse's over the years. The board members always want Wayfair because its a one stop, look and pic from your computer, place. I grit my teeth because I get to purchase it, place or assemble, deal with missing parts, parts that dont fit, delays in shipping, good and next to horrible customer service, and on and on.

You nailed it exactly as you say but I will add....Extremely.....hit or miss. If your buying one thing then the situation would be different.

I try and buy local to support the city I live in...... Havasu does not have much to pick from.
We have had the best luck at Ashley Furniture or living spaces. They did not deliver to Havasu so I had to pick up.

Used Wayfair for rugs and accessories. Very easy to deal with for returns. Had them ship me the wrong rug once. It happens. They sent out the new one right away at no charge and gave me like 30 days to send back the old.

For nicer items, I've had good luck with PolyAndBark.com

We got our kids fullsize beds and mattresses from Wayfair. Quality was decent (great for the price....). No complaints on them

I bought a sofa from Wayfair a few years ago for $300. Honestly, the quality was just okay - nothing impressive. It served its purpose for a while, but I ended up needing to replace it sooner than I'd hoped because it started to sag, and the fabric wore out pretty quickly.
So, recently, I decided to invest more in a custom sofa for $1900 from What A Room. This one has a kiln-dried solid wood frame, and the difference is significant. The build quality feels much more robust, and the materials used are far superior. It's a lot more comfortable and looks like it will last much longer than my old Wayfair sofa.

Have bought some bed frames and other smaller household items including cabinet hinges/pulls.

Good prices, received wrong hinges once. They reshipped quickly and told us to keep the wrong ones. We donated those to goodwill.

I am surprised a lot of you know about this stuff. I was under the impression most of you were like me and this furniture thing is handled by our wives.

I have no idea who made the furniture we have. I kind of know where she bought it as I pay the bills and see the charges. I think I have seen one or two charges from wayfair, but they we small amounts and no idea what they were for.

It's a wholesaler, they just liquidate stuff that didn't sell somewhere else.

It's the TJ Max of furniture outlets.

The good news is...

If something is wrong with the item, the will usually replace it for free (no return to the old one required).

I've always used Lazy Boy for furniture I wanted to last, but yeah, their stuff IS expensive!
