That is exactly what I installed and couldn't be happier. Even went a step further and installed a whole house filter system.

I got mine from McMaster Carr but you can get them on-line from about anywhere. https://www.mcmaster.com/#standard-water-filtration-devices/=1aro6sp
I installed a sediment/rust filter and then an odor/chlorine filter before the water softener. Just make sure you size them big enough for your overall usage (GPM).

Reviews look excellent and price looks good as well, I would say go for it.

How often should you replace the whole house filters? I have a 2 filter manifold.

I’m Part time once / twice a month and replace it once a year if it needs it or not!!!!

Thinking about stepping it to maybe 6 months as it’s cheap and easy to replace

I was thinking replacing the 2 filter just before summer may/ June and then again after it cools off September/ October. So I isolate the filters from hot and cool water....

Get a water tester and test the water. Change the filter when you see particulates increase.

Great company, $795 for everything installed and then $100 a year for new membranes and filters.
