I'll leave the rear straps on while backing down the ramp then pull them off right before going in. Pulling out I'll throw rear straps on right when it comes out of the water, then go up the ramp. I get looks... its easy to tell who hasn't had a front strap/ratchet failure. I've had 2 on flat ground. 1 I had no idea when it broke. The other the ratchet mechanism broke when loosening tension. That’s why you don’t unhook the bow winch strap until it’s in the water. Sometimes the boats get a little anxious and want to leave the trailer a little too soon.

My thoughts exactly. So your the guy that takes all the time on the ramp.
I'm just unstrapping/strapping the boat, not moving a minivan full of shit or in a domestic argument. Really I'm in and out before I can get my beer open.So your the guy that takes all the time on the ramp.
i'm feeling theres a lot of inside jokes i'm misising.
Your Parkabilly innuendo strong, I can almost hear the Banjo playing in the background. Is that the Ozarks, no, wait, clean-up in Marina Village
