446 is my "no go" number. I am sure you can run it lower, but that is just my personal preference.

We ran up all the way to Jack Smith and back. No issue at all. Hot AF. Needed that cooler water. Topock A/C sucked. I noticed the buoys at the mouth were missing.

Parker and Davis Dam water release schedule

Save this link and you will know the water levels going up to Laughlin. Anything 2 units or over is pretty deep. 4 Units is ripping. For parker anything under 1 unit and we stay south of Big Bend

This can change mid day if we have a series of storms coming through
This is what I follow. Someone explain to me how havasu lake level determines the run up? I usually start at jack. So I'm always watching the dam release, not lake level. That's a new one to me.

Anyone heading out on the river next Wednesday Aug 14th might want to plan accordingly.
Says they are reducing David Dam releases from 3 am to 3 pm to 2200 cubic feet second.

BOULDER CITY, Nev. — On August 14, the Bureau of Reclamation will temporarily reduce water releases from Davis Dam to approximately 2,200 cubic feet second from 3 a.m. to 3 p.m. MST.

River users should exercise extra caution during these times as lower river flows may temporarily expose or create hazards such as sandbars and unstable riverbanks. Floating or submerged debris or other unfamiliar obstacles may also pose potential hazards until the river returns to normal flow release levels.

The reduced flow along the river reaches below Davis Dam support a request from the cities of Laughlin, Nevada, and Bullhead City, Arizona, as part of an ongoing caddisfly abatement study being conducted to combat the nuisance species that negatively impacts businesses and visitors to the area. The experiments are designed to maximize benefits to Colorado River communities, while taking into consideration water delivery requirements, impacts to hydropower production, and local recreation.

Releases are scheduled to return to normal on August 14 at 4 p.m. MST, although timing could vary depending on operational or environmental conditions.
