Looking for one of these @ retail, happy to wait a while, going to talk to some different AD's.

I've been seen quite a few of them listed around the $17.5K mark. So that's pretty much retail plus tax. I would agree you should be able to get that one at an AD pretty quickly.

So, JLC in my mind just won Watches and Wonders, and not many people in the world will care. This thing is incredible.

Anybody have any knowledge of watch winders? My lady just came across this Wolf unit, I still need to figure out the key situation but got it working yesterday. Seems pretty crazy with the way you can program it and stuff...

Yes, Wolf are good units. Have one of their 3 winders. I only use mine for watches with more complicated movements that have pushers, etc. I personally don't want my whole collection wearing out parts if the watch is easy to set in 10-20 seconds.

Definitely, I never understood people that have perpetual calendar watches not on winders, the whole point is to not have to adjust for month and year ends, etc. That level of complication is all I would use it for, as you stated, you wouldn't have all your vehicles idling 24/7 wearing out bearings and lubricant.

As McKay stated, Wolf are decent winders, and yes, the number of rotations and directions of rotation can be very important to certain watches. Patek's and their unidirectional rotors as an example.

Makes total sense, I will just tell her to throw it on eBay and see if anyone bites on it. I was surprised by the retail on the thing... Thanks guys!

Yep. Took a few weeks to get here due to being popular.

I was thinking of ordering one of the Rolex Daytona models. They have them in basically every single Rolex available in all the different colors. 👍

I've looked before for Omega dealer clocks and could never find one I liked.

A long time ago when I was working for Cadillac, I had a very very difficult customer buying an Escalade off of me in 07 I believe. He shows up in the first Rolls Royce Drophead Coupe to buy the Escalade. We are below invoice, free oil changes, and everything you can think of to get him to say yes.

When he comes back to take deliver the next day, he starts bitching about how he got a "free watch" as a present with the Rolls Royce and we are barely giving him anything. I replied back something with "yeah, you paid 100k over sticker for the Rolls, so just enjoy the Bulgari clock in the Cadillac's dash". I think its the first time in the deal he gave me any respect on any level.

18k 3rd gen. It’s like a 2020ish I think.

I’d rather have a 1st or 2nd gen and save 8k 😁
I am not a fan of that generation, not as nice as the current ones, and not much price break between them, go older and save like you said, or newer. Also, I bet you could pull off getting this piece brand new as MSRP and be 5k cheaper than this used one, walk in with your wife with some jewelry and something on your list, I bet you get it within a month for the two tone.

I agree partially, many prefer non ceramics on some models. I am one of those.

And you are right on the price. I don't think this one is very hard to find at MSRP for a brand new ceramic. Retail plus tax is roughly going to be $17.5K New ones on the Grey are right close to that and below. Go back to 2019-2020 models in excellent condition can be picked up in the 13-14K range. Watch only 11-12K range.

Bob's has pre-owned ceramic gen 2-tone sub for $16k, I personally would rather have the 5-digit model.

I should have been clearer. I’d like an older version of the newest gen. (2009 and up) Or very late model of the 2nd gen 16613 model if it was a smokin deal. But if I could find a 2009 plus model 116613 model for 10k I’d be very tempted. I don’t need a 41mm bezel like the most recent have.

Im not buying right now either way. My buddy will get what I want in eventually. I’ll get a good price. I can wait. 😁

For the record he’s asking 18 for the one in the pic. He’d give it to me for around 15. I’ll wait for a better deal.

Understood, I myself am a fan of the current generation and would want the 126613, but retail only. What I really want is my pepsi, but that will never happen close to retail, 126710 BLRO. That's my Rolex grail piece.

Mines a white face Daytona. But I’ll never pay those prices. Fuck all that. I’ll buy a new myco trailer for the boat at for nearly the same price first! 😂😂🤦‍♂️🤦‍♂️

I dig my white faced explorer II and have always liked the bluesys. Sold off all my other nice watches (Breitlings, black face sub and a chopard). But would like a second Rolex to leave the boys. Got our daughter a diamon bezel date just for her 30th so she’s set 😁

How about this guy? Anybody know him?

I got bad news for that guy. He’s fucked. Even if his story is true. Pawned items that are after the fact reported stolen, the victim has to pay the pawn amount to get the item back. Pawned items are run through a data base (the jeweler mentioned) that will flag it stolen and they will call the police.

Dudes fucked. Or his scam didn’t work. One way or the other. No watch for him.

200k watch stolen in a bar and he doesn’t file a report? Yeah, sure. Clubs usually have video etc.
