I look at anybody with these boats and treat them like walking into a bar bathroom and seeing two guys sucking each others dicks. If they all exploded at the dock when they turned the key the world would be a better place. 🖕 ;)

What most of the fuks do that pisses me off is power turns. When I had a tournament boat and the skier fell we would stop do a 180 and the throttle back. When you just crank it on the gas the wakes are even bigger, aka a double up roller.

I would never do this, but I would just like to launch my dads big Sea Ray at the river and just plow a big wake by them and let them know how it feels lol . Courtesy, awareness and boating rules some just won’t learn it.

Sunday hit a roller coming in from the side mixed with another one coming from the front that was pulling a tube.

Fun experience having the bottom drop out.

It was crazy on the strip.

Gotcha. That happened here locally in Oregon. My buddy is friends with the owner. They were out for 4 hours before the boat went down. Was purchased a week ago.

You guys need an occasional change of scenery. We spend a lot of time on a lake that probably has as many wake boats on it as anywhere, with very few issues. Big lakes with lots of coves give everyone options. I know you guys have hitches on yore trucks.

From a guy who has a Wakesurf boat but also respects those around him. It's the drivers who don't give two F@cks about others around them that are the problem, and they come in all boats and sizes. Just smile and wave a lot.

I was on the river yesterday for about an hour or more, in a buddy’s 24 stealth.
That was my first time on the water in Parker.

My take. There is absolutely no room for anyone to complain about any boats if you choose to boat on this waterway. The congestion is unlike anything I’ve ever seen, and it was by all accounts not an overly busy day.
This is a river. You can throw a rock across it at some points, and it ain’t really that long either. We ran from pirates den to the dam rather quickly, but didn’t go downriver from pirates.
Frankly, it doesn’t really seem matter what kind of boat is jammed in there, it’s combat boating plain and simple.
Not my kind of scene, that’s for sure, but I’ll likely give it a try mid week and early one day.

I think the inconsiderate nimrods need some of you jet boat guys to cut in front of them and roost their asses
Would make for a good payback. To bad our jet boats break within the first 60 yards after launching. Sucks sitting there taking the waves. Dont they realize the orange life best is our swim flag and where're ready for a tow with the ski rope?

There's no midweek right now, the river been packed for a few weeks now. Wait until the cootie is gone and people go back to work.

Its not just Wakeboard boats that drive like assholes I cant count the number of times I have had go fast boats pass me on the wrong side while racing some other boat, but that's safe? Its not the boat its the person. You just notice it more because the boats are really cool looking! 😉

Oh! I agree! There were plenty of assholes out there! But it's BOTH! IMHO .... Those boats are dangerous in what they were designed to do! Most of the operators Don't have a FK'n Clue what they're doing, Have any respect for other boaters, or how much damage they can cause! -- I'm really surprised there haven't been some serious injuries. or boats sunk from these things!
Until you hit one of these big wakes, go airborne, or get side hammered by a couple! That cool look might change! :) To a Scowl ;)

Midweek has been busier than normal but not bad. Once Friday hits it gets crowded quickly. Saturday is by far the worst.

True, but even the best driver cant control the consequences created by of a huge wake intentionally made with ballast tanks and wake shapers.

And there you have it!! .... It's a dangerous boat in what it was designed to do! -- Create huge wakes intentionally made with ballast tanks and wake shapers.

I agree with you too, so many of these boat are purchased by first time boaters. These boats are designed to perform specific functions and they do it very well. Dangerous? I don't really agree. Same could be said for a boat that has 800+horsepower.

The problem lies in that the river is very narrow and is lined with property. But its an open water way so everyone is free to use it.

I have hit one of these wakes and have gone airborne. I learned my lesson and know now how to manage it.

It's a survive or sink situation out there sometimes. I cant believe where some people decide to throw their kids in the water and drag them on a toy. You've got to be crazy to try that in front of Echo but I've seen plenty of it.

Oh ok, then I'm really not sure what your beef is. That lake is always super choppy!! I been Runnin this river (Havasu & Parker) for the past 15 years!
Well! 🤣 Then you didn't read my first post!

And believe me! My Tub can take anything these things can put out, or weather condition produced, even full on Monson with 4 ft rollers or more (if that's even possible) Point is, If you are responsible for your wake -- And you produce & shape that wake -- We know about the Docks and river banks! -- It won't be long, (and already starting) law suits for swamped, sunk boats, and docks!... next will be the new boating family(s) member die losing control hitting monster wake! ..... Although I really hope not!
Plus I know what happens to a boat when they hit a rouge wave wrong! -- I had a rescue team onboard when one happened! -- Parker Enduro Last lap -- The boat exploded, We rescued the driver, found and Recovered 1/2 the boat and motor.

I also agree with the busy chop! But throw in just a couple three of these WakeShaper's (although one is enough) It's a compound Fuck-Up! 😐

There’s another dam?

So the person that took you had never been to Parker before either??

Or did he have what we called back in the old days, an up river boat?? (That's a boat you only take upstream, so you can float back when the thing breaks).

It's 17 miles dam to dam. Come with me next time. I'll show you what Parker is all about. ;)
