Another solo roll over on the 40 a few hours later today. At least this guy was out of his vehicle.

I couldn’t tell but it was around the part of that stretch of the highway that gets all bumpy. Bike definitely rolled over.

I hope the Families sue both States! There is no excuse for the I40 to get so bad before being repaired. And yes, I am completely aware that the road bed is probably being damaged by creeping alluvial fans. This is not anything new and dollars should be built into annual budgets to repair these areas long before they get this bad. As you can tell, I'm tired of tax dollars being diverted away from needed road repairs for political projects.

Arizona is getting ready to start fixing their side. They built a crossover through the median and traffic control equipment is starting to show up.

Last week I saw a drilling crew doing soil samples on the California side, so I assume that Caltrans is getting ready to fix their side.

Both sides have fixed it before. Fairly recently. It’s something the engineers say will continue to happen.
