VST hose connections

Questions on my old VST system.

Any idea where this open port goes?
Is the vent normally connected to manifold vacuum?

I think it should tee in here with the sight tube from the mechanical pump.

I have some of that tubing. I wanted to verify the VST and mechanical pump sight tubes tee together and connect to the intake near the throttle body.

That is correct as others mentioned.

On a separate note, does anybody know the correct plug size to cap off the VST return port?

What fitting would be needed to convert the return line that goes into the return port to something else and go back to the fuel tank?
