Usually, but not always. I like to do my research and vote for the candidate or proposition that best represents my views. Like I said, usually republican backed, but not a golden rule. Voting strictly upon party lines isn’t a good rule.

I’m another who always leaned Republican, but occasionally selected an alternative party, and in 2020 vowed to never vote for another democrat at any level of government. We can’t afford to let them get a foot in the door. Today’s local councilman is tomorrow’s U.S. Senator.

I’m a Libertarian so I believe both sides have way too much control over the American Peoples lives. But if there is only 2 choices I always side with the Conservative Republican Party when voting.

The biggest problem I see with the Democratic Party is the moderate leadership has been taken over by people with Marxist Ambitions. Unfortunately a majority of there constituents are still in denial and continue to vote for anyone with a “D” next to there name regardless. Hopefully this all changes tomorrow!

Most politicians enter the arena with honest intentions, but quickly find they must vote along party lines to retain part support. Electing good democrats will backfire.

This country has drifted into the "abyss" shithole of wokeness , alternative life styles and pandering to the minorities , time to fix the broken steering and get law and order back on track . I was a "democrat" until Regan and have never looked back

I don't vote "red" or "blue", I vote for the best candidate. If more people voted on the issues and not the color of their party, this country might not be so divided.
If we had term limits (house and senate), that would be easier to do.
Need limits at all levels (state and fed) before voting on responses to issues vs party color can be done safely.

Issues you say. Well then here are some real issues that are affecting everyday Americans.

Russia hoax, Nursing home slaughter, Lockdowns, Border mess, Masks, School closures, Gas prices, Quarantine passports, Curfews, Inflation, Crime, Taxes, Assault on free speech, Assault on gun rights, Grooming children, Censorship, Antifa/BLM riots, weaponizing DOJ/IRS

Who caused them? And should be held accountable? Who will fix the ones that can be fixed?

Define “best”.

That is when I changed to straight party line voting as well.

My sister was a little upset with me (she leans left), when I told her I will never vote for a fucking democrat ever again. Even though it was few and far between, the last few years pushed me over the edge.

Is there a business owner that built their business from the ground up that votes democrat? Please raise your hand. Not going to bash just wondering if they exist.
I know of them... they usually make money based on dem policy or get government contracts. Thus, they need the gubment machine to keep money printer runnin' and runnin'.

I voted for every republican I could vote for in CA. I don’t care who they are

And if there was any advertising by any democrats for CA propositions I voted the opposite way, whatever it was.

So sick of the donkeys.

It seems that while in real life you have a hard time getting 10 people to agree on anything, yet somehow every dumascrap in the house and senate vote the party line on every issue, so best vote straight red, because you'll still have a lot of Rhinos that will vote the Dumo side, never happens the other way

Voting for the "best candidate" is how we got here. Eff that nonsense

Vote for every conservative person, measure, and proposition and then say your prayers that your vote counts

And if there was any advertising by Newsome or other democrats I voted the opposite just to piss in their cheerios.

And then I grabbed a family members voting card and filled it out for them and made them sign it.

In California voting republican is like voting independent. Your candidates are unpopular, hardly seen or heard from and do little to no advertising.

But at least I know I’m not contributing to the end of all human life on earth.

ETA: Hmm I somehow managed to double post from earlier but I’ll let it stay since I got more out of this one for some reason.
