Anyone id this piston. Numbers don't really turn anything up on line. Need one replacement piston. This is out of a 2000 Worhorse p30or32 chassis

Is it a stock bore block, 4.250" ? Something about that casting reminds me of KB Hypereutectic pistons. I guess lots of companies should have one, looks to be a stock type replacement if it's not a factory part. Check the other 7 extremely carefully.

If that's the case, it would be one GM installed I suppose. Likely I have some lying around here waiting to go to scrap.

Everything I find online calls it a floating piston but mine is definitely a press pin. Is the diameter for the pin hole in the piston the same as a floating and the pin and obviously the rod are different for the floating?

Right, the end of the rod gets heated and the pin is pressed in, with a stop to keep it centered in the piston.
