I want to change mine to a two piece shaft cover. What’s the best way to go about making one?

Take it to Prime Marine. They rigged your boat. They can make one.

This is for the Hondo, not the Connolly. Looks like diesel exhaust pipe would work haha

You can make your own.
Get aluminum tube from industrial metals supply or order online
Slide together & polished
There definitely is a little more to it. Wall thickness & overlap.

The best and cleanest one available is made by Bergeron Marine in Mesa AZ

Thought the OP mentioned something about making his own. I have a Bergeron set up on another boat. It’s nice, but definitely not cleaner.
And Wbinder, the attachment at the v drive is standard

I’m assuming you want to make your own as I did because you enjoy doing doing your own shit. If that’s not the case & you are trying to save money, honestly after time, fab & materials it’s not any less money.

The flange in the pic is NOT a Bergeron part if that is what you were indicating ?
