My back hurts just looking at that. LOL
What is it you are making?
Those guys are humpin!!! I use to tie steel for my dad when I was a teenager, that is a TOUGH job. Looks easy, until you've been doing it ALL DAY for 3 or 4 days in a row, back, shoulders, knees, hands, you name are sore.
But im amazed at the equipment on the job, these guys dont screw around moving earth, some of the biggest equipment I have ever seen

Cat 992 Rubertire Wheel Loader...Ive run 2 of them...Scary Fun..:thumbsup
perhaps those are "real" union workers.
Shit is awesome, craziest thing I have seen is two D11's following each other, felt like an earthquake, I can keep this thread updated if anyone is interested, the huge equipment/odd equipment is unreal...theres a water truck that dwarfs the 30 yard Tonka trucks, it has an 18,000 gallon tank

Non Union could get the same job done for 1/2 the cost and it would be finished ahead of schedule.

Perfect. Guess I won't offer that casual card application to you when they come out.

LOL>.. Dick... don't be stingy. I never said I didn't want a cake job like you.

Nonunion couldn't come up with the manpower
Cake? Ya you won't think that on your first lash back. And you have no idea what I really do. It's not all sit with your feet up. Not that anyone here really cares.
I think you should suction cup a Go Pro to your bald head and video a day in the life of Djunkie at the docks so we know.

How do you motivate them to tie faster?
It doesn't require wages of $70.00 per hour to tie shit together.
Did you guys fab all the steel or did it get sent out that way by non union fabricators?
Nonunion couldn't come up with the manpower
I really appreciate the guys the see thd real work, instead of thinking we are a bunch of sniviling union guys, there is a reason union ironworkers still man 90% of the jobs, we still work!

Those non union guy's can do it for half the price. The problem is it takes them three times to get it right.
Are your guys required to tie so many feet per hour? How do you motivate them to tie faster?
A job like that you could really use this.....

Simple, if they don't keep up, send them back to the hall until you get people who can and will keep up. Its usually not a problem tho :thumbsup
Thats the real deal as far as labor goes. You boys are no joke.
Anything steel related is lumped into the critical path of the project. You guys slack and the whole job goes to shit real quick.
Keep the updates coming. Thats a cool project.
