Got a great condition undercounter ice machine for sale. Just went through the entire thing and she is running in tip top shape. All cleaned up inside and in FANTASTIC condition. The only thing it's missing is a good home with filtered water, and the factory ice scoop

How long will it take in normal conditions from turned off to producing ice? Curious if I turn it on when I get to river how soon it would be producing

Depending on the water temp coming in. I would say 30 min before the first drop.

Done-it-again is correct. Water temp has the biggest impact on production time. Specially the first load. When I was running it the last couple of days the ambient has been 75 and water temp 70 which is a bit higher than the rating conditions they use. I would say if you walked in and turned it on as soon as you got there, you'd likely start getting ice by the time you are done unloading. Mostly.

I have a similar machine.

I typically turn it on when I arrive say 5 -8 pm, the bin is at least 3/4 full by the next morning!

So what happens is

The ice compartment is warm, water is warm, and it takes a few hours to Chill /cool the airspace bin / hopper !
The water flows into a tray inside the Ice Maker and then gets pumped over the cube grate while it in the freeze cycle.

if you want to speed up the process have a bag of ice inside the freezer and dump it inside the hopper and it will start the chill process when you turn it on. Once the bin / hopper is full fill Up or restock your freezer bag.

If you have a Hava House, I think an Ice Marker is a MUST HAVE !!

I keep 40 / 50 Lbs of ice in the freezer all the time! You can buy 10 lb Ice bags & twist ties on line, I get mine at Smart & Final

I also bought a SS Ice Scooper (Amazon ) to break up the ice for ICY Cold cocktails

Heat in the bin is a big issue like you mention. . The ice will melt fast till it cools down and starts stacking.

Let's get this sucker sold! I have already applied a decent RDP discount here (listed for $1,200 elsewhere).

I'd love to see another RDP member get it and enjoy it.

So does nobody need an ice machine that is in damn-near brand new condition for less than half the price of new?

That’s a great Deal!

I paid $1800 plus for mine and that was Costco and it’s not a name brand unit like this one!

Mine is super dead.....the most neglected, overworked ice machine you ever saw lol
I'll just have to visit @Racer56 a bunch when his pad is complete
Is it actually dead? Can you bring it home? Ill give you a call later. I might be able to help you out with it.

If you really want the ice machine take it. I don't need it until the Riviera house is done.

I think the refrigeration aspect of it is fine, but its puking water and is just hammered in general. Looks like a rat rod, so much calcium and patina.....lol
