Carwin vs Lesner. Not sure that Lesner can take the big punch. I don't see it going beyond the first round in any case.

Leznar is going abruptly to sleep in the first round! Did you see him at the weigh in? So shook up he couldn't talk! lol

I like em both but Lesnar will get the win. If it goes past the first round I think Carwin will run out of gas anyway. Go Lesnar.

I was impressed with Lesnar. I was pulling for Carwin, but Lesnar pulled out an impressive win. He was pretty humble at the end of it too.

There were some great fights last night!

his change in attitude is cool...I think he finally gets it. In the MMA game you can lose at any point...

Yes, Leznar was much less of a douche in his after fight interview. Carwin has to work on his cardio if he wants to beat him. He has the power, now he needs the stamina to finish.

Big guys hitting hard. Very good case can be made that the fight should of been stopped. Carwin is for sure the favorite for next time. Anytime you get thrown around and struck so may times that you are burned out is a lot for super heavyweights. How many consecutive head shots does it take to make a stoppage? Lesner lucked out to survive and was lucky to get the submission. Except that it happened.

I'll bet Dana told Josh Rosenthal to let em go as long as possible. These guys can hit big but can also take big hits. The difference? I think Lesnar stayed busy enough to not warrant stoppage, unlike Mir when he laid there and did nothing while getting fockin pounded on when he fought both these guys. Clearly Carwins boxing is superior to Lesnars but these guys are both wrestlers so you knew it was going to the ground and Lesnars ground game is leaps better then Carwins along with his training and cardio. Brock did what he came to do and there will be a rematch and I will still take Lesnar. Now hopefully Dana can setup the match between Mir and Anderson Silva at a catch weight, I don't particularly care for Mir but I cannot stand Silva and would love to see Mir take that dude out.

I didn't see any evidence that Leznar is the better wrestler. Carwin beat Leznar down and Leznar as much as thanked em for not stopping it! lol He was beat senseless and claimed he was "not hurt"! lol Carwin next time, and he'll finish it in the first.

Frank Mir vs Anderson Silva? I'd like to see anyone beat the crap outta Silva but how much weight is Frank supposed to lose and Anderson supposed to put on?:thumbsdown

I think 50% of fights are stopped early. Carwin has more fights and went out to do what he has done before....knock out his opponent early. Didn't happen and he gassed out. No big deal and he will learn from it......just as Lesnar will. Lesnar has found Carwin weakness just as Cotour found Silvias. It is what it is but Lesnar is the best and is only what, 5 fights in. He has game just admit it. I see a super heavy weight class coming up to let these guys compete. 206-245 heavy and 246 up super, we'll see.

You may be right about the weight class changes and it would probably be a good thing. I am not saying that Leznar doesn't have skills and heart...he's proven he does. I just didn't see anything from him to make it look like he was a better fighter. Carwin expended too much energy and he paid for it. I don't think it should have been stopped, I think Carwin should have finished it but he gassed, plain and simple. He could work on nothing but cardio and beat Leznar.

It is kinda silly walkin around as "the baddest man on the planet" when there are plenty of guys that can whoop your ass standing up. I'd like to see him with at least A knockout. A heavyweight champ with no knock outs? I think THAT is a record! lol
Dana will probably coddle him like he did Ortiz...

This is not boxing, its mma. Knockout don't mean shit if you don't have skills AND cardio. Tito? Please...that guy is a far cry from anyone in the game today. He is a fockin lame duck. Chuck is too but he would have worked Tito just like before but Rich is better and younger. I don't see any heavy weight fight going the distance these days, they are to big and will gas too quick. I think we will see a big change in the game now with the big boys in town. TIM Silvia was the baddest for a while.....what happened? Randy picked him apart and won. You need ground game in heavy weight now and it will happen. I see Matt Mitrione as one of the up and comers now. That dude can take a hit and I think will be a threat. We'll see.
