Anyone know about this thing? It was immaculate. Looked like it was 28’?

I imagine it was a fortune in its time period. A true luxury piece.

I have a Howard whaler, pulled up next to that one in a cove in Havasu last summer. That thing is a monster, it has a good amount of free board on it as well. He had the front of the console set up like a bar. Boat was immaculate and the guy was super friendly and even shared his beer.

I was next to that guy last year in the gorge, floating
It’s huge, center console size today cool and old school cool at same time
I believe it’s a pretty well known ride w the Campbell guys.

I saw one similar years and years ago in Havasu while spraying a boat for Groovey Bob.
The boat was bad ass. Twin small blocks, twin v drives, huge wood inlayed dance floor with inset lighting around the perimeter, kegerator, it was slick!

Is this the one that started life back in the late 60's or early 70's as the lime green, parquet floored, "Disco Boat" ?

The green one is still around.

I wish someone would build a modern whaler. A 28 heat, eagle, bullet, nuera, etc... Would be bad ass. Hang a couple of outboards on it and you could have a west coast cc that would be much lighter than their east coast brethren and would also have much better performance.

That is exactly which boat this is. It was bought from Bob Whelan's wife and then it was completely gone through by a well know LHC Campbell guy (my understanding was no expense was spared!!). The beer tap is gone but I think the dance floor is still in there. Glad they saved her!!!

Was that boat actually built in 92' ? Or renovated in 92' ? Sure thought it was prior to that I saw it at the boat show --- but time flies and well, we forget, lol :D

My understanding is that it was one of the last Campbell's built in the factory (in 92) before it was shut down for the last time. Bob Welan's personal "party barge".
