Trying to find a Pipe Tool

Looking for a friend. Has anyone ever seen this thing? It's for building handrail. It's made of cast aluminum. The only other marking on it says "LF-1". The inside V is 1.5" x 1.5". The side walls are 5/8" thick. I've found other style of pipe holders, but none this style and he's pretty bent on sticking to this kind. I'm sure one could build it if they had the equipment/motivation. I'll take any leads out there. Thanks

I believe that is an old Walker Exhaust piece...Walker Tools made jacks and stuff too. I haven't seen them for sale new. I've used aluminum angle and clamps, but haven't run across one of those.
