Just thought I'd toss this out for anyone looking for something to do this Saturday or Sunday (Event Day) in Irwindale, CA is Truckin For Kids.
People will be there polishing and hanging out all day Saturday and well into the night but the actual "event" day is on Sunday which includes some Big Truck Drag Racing, Show N Shine, Back-Up Contest? & Transfer Truck Competition.

We have quite a few trucks heading out there, Saturday morning leaving from Bellflower to Irwindale.

It's a great event for the guys/kids with some bad ass trucks.

I have no need for a truck like this, but if I did, it would be a long nose Pete. Throw in a car hauler front axle, stretch the frame and put some polished Alcoas on it. Done deal!

Cool show, lots of really nice stuff. Kids liked it, watched the drags and such. For some reason Tapatalk isn’t letting me up load pics.

The grey truck, red/black and the blue Versteeg Trucks are family/friends trucks, we had a blast all weekend.

You have some great pictures, my son is actually in one of them! (The picture with the R/C big rigs, my son is in the red shirt)

Not Anymore, the grey truck is my father-in-laws & will be for sale early/mid next year.
All the new laws & CA in general are garbage and will eventually ruin local trucking.

Yeah the bus is bad ass, it was originally a LA City Bus (Shorty ChinaTown) that a company had converted back in the day.

Both, yeah Sam is my father-in-law and the red/black truck is an old Van Hulzen truck but not Sam's old truck. It's Big Mike's truck now and doesn't get worked a ton - just weekend and side jobs.

We are all family friends and all live up here in Tulare/Visalia area now.

Thanks guys for the badass pics. Looks like some beautiful Iron there. The one thing I miss living all the way out here is no Truck shows. The closest one I found was in Vegas April of 2017 but the didn't do it in 2018. Hopefully they will have semi truck show down in Phoenix someday.
