Have always run Nitto Terra Grapplers. Any opinions on the BFG all terrains? Either way I'm at 350 a tire.

Check with Tucker Tire in Laguna Niguel or the Inland Empire. The best prices and service around.

Bought every tire for my stuff with the exception of a trailer tire I had to buy n Havasu from them. I like the way they operate, too:D

I like the Hankook Dynapro's. I had BFG all terrains on my lifted Tacoma and I got 75K miles out of them but I replaced them with the hankooks because the BFG's went up so much in price. I ended up really liking the Hankooks, these tires have 31K miles on them and still look brand new.

Out of all the 35" tires ive bought in my life the pro comp xtreme a/t has lasted the longest mileage for me. Ive got 45k on my current set and prob have 30% left.

I was a BFG buyer until I started to get shitty mileage out of them.

Before I sold my diesel, I had Yokohama Geolanders on it. Great tire that I would definitely buy again.

I have had the Pro Comps on the excursion now for 5 years. Great tires. You couldn't give me anything BFG.... Ever. I had a set of BFG All Terrains on it prior, and they rode horrible, all of them were square, and BFG said "the tires are within they're tolerances, so fuck off, we're not fixing or replacing them".

Loaded question. If you want the best performance, mileage and longevity on the road no one beats Michelin. I just replaced the Michelin LTX tires on my duramax, had over 95K miles on them, most of the miles towing. The rears were shot but fronts had about 5K miles left but were starting to dry out and crack. They are not the best for snow or off roading but get decent fuel mileage and last a long time. It all depends on what your looking for. I put another set of Michelin's on a couple of weeks ago, costs about 1200.00. The last set was around 950.00 7 years ago.

I've had good luck with the BFG ATs. Last set had 50k on them and were just under half tread. Guy at the tire shop swore that the load range Ds last longer than E.

X2

I switched to Hankooks from Bfg and Nitto due to poor tread life. Been very happy so far.

There's a revised BFG A/T coming out soon, if not already.

Pro Comp is a great deal if you wait until the fall when they do buy 3 tires get 1 free. My first two sets of 35's were Pro Comps but now I'm on Nitto Terra Grapplers. The Nitto's seem to be lasting longer so far. Mine we are talking mud terrain though and Havasu heat. I just think the Pro Comps are a tad softer.

Pro Comp's are made by Cooper.

We have bought our tires from Tucker since 1997. Went to Dinner Thursday and picked up a large Allen Wrench in the left rear tire. Took it to Tucker and they were not comfortable plugging the hole next to a tread. Didn't think they would. The tire only had 2300 miles on it. They gave me the Goodyear Wrangler 20" Tire at $105.00 (His cost) You just don't see that any more.

I switched from 35" BFG mud terrain to Toyo mud terrain and have been very happy. 35K miles so far and tread has held up and they are much more quiet

Toyo AT2 is the way to go. They have a mileage warranty and are a great all around tire. I went from the MT to the all terrain and have 20,000 miles on them and the look the same as they did when I got them. I would say 19 of the 20 are towing either a boat or a 5th wheel so they get beat on and still holding up

I used to have Pro Comp Extreme Terrain XT's on my truck but in retrospect I'll never buy them again. The just wear out too fast. Now I have Toyo Open Country M/T's and couldn't be happier. They ride great, they are nice and quiet, and are seeming to last. And they are great offraod and in the sand.

I switched from nitto to coopers. Only have 3k on these coopers so don't have a report. But they seem to be holding up ok so far

Pro Comp tires are garbage. Greasy cheap rubber compound.

Toyo open country AT2 or MT
Bfg AT
Cooper At3

Top 3 choices for quality tires made here.

I have the same tires on my truck and excursion. They are great, quite and last forever.

I just switched from the Toyo M/T to the Nitto Trail Grappler M/T in the 35", Nice ride and quiet for an aggressive tread, will let new know how mileage goes with time.... Toyo's unavailable until October 2014, there's still some out there, but they are old stock in both 35" & 37" I guess Toyo's coming out with new design in the M/T, both Nitto & Toyo made at same plant here in USA, but Nitto's paying for resources right now, so I could not wait and went with the Nitto's I am Happy ...... SO FAR :D :D :D
