That looks like a rocket, probably handles amazing!

What would adding another 300 cost? I think the outboard itself is around 25k

super cool boat!!

Cant wait to see it done and see what it can do. I can imagine setting that up w/ 2 Merc ROS's would be pretty sweet.

I just cant get my head around are those seats. Seems like a pain to be crawling over the console or sides of those goofy looking pepboys APC parts catalog civic racer seats.

Boat has some bad ass lines to it for sure.

Imagine, Twin 300’s, = 600hp, spinning to 6-8000rpms plus… in a light weight package… Damn… thats a rocket ship, hope it handles at speeds as good as it looks.

The seat you see looks exactly the same shape as the Sparco race seat in my track car. Once you sat in it , it keeps you firm. which is a good thing running in rough water conditions.

That seat is crazy, not a straight line anywhere on it! I dig it and think it would be badass made out of carbon fiber. 👍

Hahaha I meant can you get it in both left and right hand rotation? Since its for Formula boats I figured they all spin in once direction
Haven't been in a new speedie yet but I can't imagine it's too much different than a IV/VI, which if similar isn't hard to change.

Looks cool but I bet that would get hot in the sun, not to mention the bruising from jumping surf boat wakes. Full padding sounds better.

Yeah I wouldn’t be running Eva foam for a seat..

Just drop in a commonly available offroad suspension seat. I think this can take a 50-60 lb weight hit?

Looks awesome.

At these price points if they perform, I would bet they will sell a shit ton.. Because guys like me could have a fast boat and a family boat in these arenas..

RD
Performance, maintenance, reliability, and styling could make it the next big thing in performance boating.

I would totally replace my boat with this… Except do my own seats.
Agreed. I’d want a bench in the back.

I think you need to let them run one light on fuel with paperweight seats. Once you see the big number then you can decide on how many MPHs comfort is worth.

Losing 7-8mph for a legit interior is a no brainer in my mind.

I have similar seats in my gtr. I would die in havasu with it. 🤣

If my memory serves me correct 135mph was about the top end of a Mach 22 with worked over twins back in the day. Something like this with modem power should be a contender.

Had a 22 Talon with a 2.5 Merc Off Shore, this new Trick looks even better.
Single 300 for me, less weight in the rear and zero to 60 in low 3-4 seconds range.

It is a great looking hull. It’s got really nice lines.

However, right now it’s just a great looking hull. It still needs to be water tested.

FWIW……… Where I live, most manufacturers have abandoned trying to put single engines on catamarans. Cavitation being the main reason. Sure, there are plenty of examples of singles, but overall, cats ride better with twins. But, at only 23’ on a lightweight hull, with twin 300’s, I am guessing it will make that hull squat significantly. But since I don’t know if they are going to use a flotation bracket, maybe this potential problem is already being addressed. Just looking at the transom, I am pretty sure that a jackplate or jackplates will be mandatory.

It’s definitely not an ocean boat. But probably perfect for Parker of Havasu! It’s extremely stylish!

It will be very interest how this boat stacks up against a Twister. Which, I personally believe, is at the top in that size segment. Good time to be a boater !

No way it’s gonna put up those kinda numbers.. the new motors are a lot heavier. 110-115 is my guess.

The new 24' from Wicked is being built to race offshore. They will be available in closed cockpit, open cockpit, set up with single or twin outboards. This size boat market is getting very interesting and I believe you will see several boat builders coming out with big singles on 23-28' cats to hopefully have a more entry level price point

Outdrive1 (Paul) had a perfect TWISTER listed. Hope the owner of that boat doing ok.
