This is pretty badass lots of cool suspension tech and detail. Says you can lock the diffs in and out from the remote too. I want one just to stare at in my office

If they make a 70's ramcharger version, I will need 3-4 of them.

So sick...

the cool thing about the traxas they made it where you can still put it to 2 drive and have fun with it and then put in 4 to go rock crawling it’s kind of a universal vehicle .Which axial are all the time for 4 drive and are slower than shit at full speed. And I believe you can use Nimh and lipo

That thing looks bad ass! Shit, makes me want to build a real K5 to replace my rzr. I have a hole in our desert game i need to fill at some point. Off topic, but there is a bill on the books to make 1983-prior vehicles smog exempt here in CA. If it passes.....that opens up a whole bunch more K5's for hotrodding. Not having to deal with smog is what makes the pre-76 vehicles way more desirable.

Those are really nice, I love those old K5 Blazers. I had a early 70s Plymouth Trailblazer and then a Chevy K5 Blazer, just stock, low miles and factory perfect and I loved it. I traded it to my dad for his Cadillac Fleetwood when I moved to New Orleans and he ended up selling the Blazer.....wish I still had it!

I've had a Ramcharger (79), and 2 K5's (73 and 82)in my life, and I miss them all. The Ramcharger had a built 440 and front and rear posi, with a doug nash kit. The K5's were mildly warmed over stock versions with 3" lifts and 35's. Someday soon I'll have another K5, to keep. I have to say though, the Ramcharger was the most fun, jumping off the highway and pulling it into 4wd without stopping made for some serious fun in Norcal….fire road killer!

Plymouth trailduster... ;-)

You are right, Trailduster......I had Blazer on my mind when I saw this post. I was never a big Mopar guy, but my dad bought me a Gas Company Dodge 1/2 ton pickup, short bed, slant six, Gas Co. white, with 100k miles, at an auction in Riverside in 1971 for $600. I had it for about 6 years and 150k flawless miles later sold it for $1900 and bought the Trailduster, which was a gem.

Then my dad’s good friend, who owned the first McDonalds in Riverside (on University Ave. and now he owns about 5 other McDonalds) sold me his Blazer (in factory white and what he called “McDonalds Yellow”) with about 20k miles on it. Man, I wish I still had that Blazer.
