Finally got around to installing my new Gatorstep over the weekend. No more slipping off the swim step.

That looks great! I have the same slippery swim step on my 25' Eagle. Who did you order it through? How is it to stick it on with all of the dimples on the swim step?

I did it myself, just went on their website and purchased the Mylar template material, Created the template based on the guidelines and send it back. They digitalize it and send you a paper template for test fit. Took about 3 rounds before I was happy. Took about a month from the time I sent in the Mylar. All in about $225.00.

My Eagle has the textured surface as well. My original mistake was that I created the template to match the size of the textured surface. I ended up talking with one of the designers and they recommended I over size it so that it has smooth fiberglass to stick to as well.

It still attaches well even to the bumpy texture. They recommend you install it so the ends are on the smooth part to insure the edges are secure but the rest of it is made to stick on the textured portions.

just got some for our new x-flight..
have not got it installed yet.. have done lots n lots of jet ski mats and seats covers wont be no issues to install for me.. they do give you detailed instructions on how and what to do..
went direct to gator step and ordered it.. they have design templates for lots of boats on there website..

Gatorstep is 24 dollars a square foot. They mail you a template to cut to size then they price it out when you return it to the factory.

If you have one of the boats they already have templates for you just order it up. If not you have to get s kit they ship to make your own.
I just ordered a full set for my magic, they had 20 % of for awhile.

If I put the Gator step on , can I peel it off easy ? I notice on my Hallett swimstep insert , it will cover the bolt heads . How would I access them after ?

This is a SeaDek before and after, they did it all at my house in Havasu.
