Anyone else seeing the tornado destruction across the MO, AR, KY regions? Reports that the GM plant was nailed and is on fire in Bowling Green and the Corvette museum was hit as well. There are large mass casualty events all across these regions as the storms rage on and continue North and Eastward.

The strongest tornado end to end gate sheer speed ever recorded on Dopplar radar at 303mph has been in this outbreak. The video once daylight hits is going to be shocking.

A certain creator is extremely pissed off at the moment as there have been Hand of God tornados on the ground. Please pray for these folks.😥

I can’t even imagine a tornado on the ground for 200 miles… that’s San Diego to Santa Barbara. Isn’t ground speed usually less than avg highway speed? It would have been churning away for hours and hours. Wow

Very sad. Apparently crossed 6 states. The news is saying unprecidented warmth in the wake of this travesty. Hopefully that will help the survivors and rscue crews.

Terrible.

Similar to going to the drag races and hearing a top fuel car the first time.
If you've never experienced it there is no way to describe it.

Only one or two things gives me nightmares and my tornado experience is one of them and a tornado at night is the worst kind - its what I imagine being bombed is like.

This graphic is snapshot of tornado debris captured by Doppler radar when it was taking out Mayfield, KY. It sent shit up over 30k feet.

This tech is amazing to me…

Wife has a friend that was hit. Lost the house but they were all safe. Really shitty thing is her daughter has medical supplies for her different conditions which is now all gone.

I just could not fathom something like this happening.

The sky goes green, then it goes silent, then all hell breaks loose. The roar of a tornado is like you said indescribable unless you've experienced it. Being stuffed into a bathtub, with your parents laying on top of you with a mattress pulled over the top of us all hoping to survive is not something I will ever forget.

this storm is beyond anything I can ever recall happening..200 miles of a tornado that big will be a massive loss of life and property.

The green sky is another thing Ive never been able to fully describe nor seen caught accurately on camera.

A bathtub holding a mattress on you must have been terrifying although Id hand it to your parents that was likely the best bet at the time.

For us it was in a basement or cellar up against a wall.
Top fuel isnt as accurate as being in a dyno room with a train engine at full tilt.

Been in touch with my sister who lives about 20 miles northwest of Nashville. She sent me this youtube video a little while ago.
Prayers for all those that were in the path of this monster.

The amount of physical damage is devastating. The emotional damage, is unknown but ever lasting.

I will stay in California.. At least all my shit is in a pile after an earthquake. Don't have to driving around the country side looking for my shit. I was in Oklahoma once during a tornado and that was enough for me.

So my wife's friend..... a few more details about them. She lives in the low income housing in Dawson Ky. Because they are such low income, they didn't have renter's insurance. They lost everything. This was the first Christmas in years she was able to afford to give her kids a Christmas cause she just got a job. All that is gone. Even worse, all her son's medical supplies are gone. She's one of the people that helped us when our 2nd kid was diagnosed with FPIES and required the extremely expensive formula and our insurance wouldn't cover it. She stepped up and sent us dozen of cans of her son's extra supply for just shipping cost. She has helped many other families in that same way too.

I never post anything like this, but this situation warranted it. Specially with what kind of person she is. If anybody can help with ANYTHING at all, please let me know. Here is a Go Fund Me for her.

See if you can get a Venmo link for her and share it..go fund me takes a cut. Probably also gets her funds immediately which she likely needs. If not I'll toss something in the go fund me.

So she doesn't have a Venmo and doesn't have enough service to create an account (she had to stand in the middle of the street just to talk to my wife). She does have Cashapp and if someone would still like to send via Venmo, you can send to my wife and we can forward it along to her. I have included both ID'S here.

Also, we did find out there was a miscommunication and she DOES have renter's insurance but her coverage is quiet low and she doesn't have documentation of much of anything in her house. Also, she still needs to get her kids clothes and other supplies quickly.

Also, she no longer has a job as the daycare center she was working at is completely gone now.

Even if she does have insurance. It's not going to be quick. If they need essentials they need something now. Plus kids deserve Christmas.

I'll Venmo your wife.

One of the most surprising things to me from the F5 tornado in Barneveld, WI in 1984 was that they found identifiable debris from Barneveld over 135 miles away...simply amazing.
