Boat did great, power is an upgrade to the 5.7, gets right on plane even with a load of people...about 52 was max mph, but it has a 17p prop and turns 5400 rpms,... so that might be the reason for on plane so quick... cruises 35 40 with ease..boat only has 250 hrs,.. I put new tires, batterys and a new water pump… and did a lot of cleaning..we just ran around the lower basin, went to sandy beach and got out the bb/q...I swear,.. hot dogs at the beach are the best...my son brought out his hallett

There is no arguing how functional these type of boats are. Pile in, get to where you are going and enjoy your day

Steve , have you been up to Temple Bar recently ? How’s the launch ramp ? I really like that part of the lake , but don’t like the long boat ride to get there , I’d rather drive it .

What kind of boat do you have?

Little Sandy, Long beach, Big Sandy which will take you up by Temple Bar.

Heading to Long Beach or Temple Bar will take you through the Narrows. Wishing well is right there also.

Have to read the weather when you starting running further up. We have a 210 Hallett. Have been caught a few times in bad weather running back from Big Sandy.

There is fuel at Temple Bar also if you need it.

What @Runs2rch, read the weather. If you’re launching from the Boulder City side of the lake, Little Sandy and Swallow are two hangouts. If the weather is good, head to the other side of the Narrows and stop in Wishing Well to float. The weather (wind) can be entirely different on one side of the lake to the other. I would definitely make a trip up towards Temple Bar and Midpoint, this is the better side of the lake and well worth the boat ride.

Never new Glastron had a deck boat. Looks pretty nice and roomy. @2FORCEFULL, what happened to your Cheetah?
