Time to put her away until spring

Looks like last Wednesday will be my last time for the year. Hope to get out earlier next spring than this year.

We're starting to get temperatures in the 40's at night time here. Season is over with.
I drained the water out of the block on Friday, and I pumped all the fuel out of it the next day.

Every now and then I need a thread like this to remind me how lucky I am. My ”good” boating season is just getting started. The nice thing about Florida is the year round boating. The summer is actually the worst season as far as weather. We are finally getting the humidity to go away.

I will be taking my boat to Lake Boca today. I just wish it wasn’t so hot outside. lol

Put the final boat away Thursday. We put 80 hours on the Center Console this summer.
No hour meter on the RIB. Most likely the same on that. My boats are happy we live in the north, they like the rest. They get worked pretty hard.

My first trip of the season was Thursday. Was 94, and toasty! LOL..looking forward to high 70's next week.

We usually start in October and run a week a month until May. This year we are a month off schedule and will be out the 7th for 5 days.

We do all the summer stuff just in wetsuits. Then we do all the desert stuff when the river seems busy. Shooting is a big part of our program and we usually have quite a crowd for this.
