Cool pics and from what I've heard, a must see event. Was just talking to a new dealer there that details all the performance boats that come through.

Enjoy and thanks for sharing the experience with those of us that couldn't make it!

:party2: Boating events in the south are the shit. :thumbsup

examples;

The Sheriff's office will be selling boiled crawfish and plate lunches Thursday - Saturday. All proceeds will benefit Sheriff Jason Ard's Christmas Crusade for Children program.
Sheriff Jason Ard and his deputies collect donations, shop, bag and deliver Christmas presents to around 1400 under privileged children each year. This is a great cause and we hope you'll support us!

Crawfish and Jambalaya are ready! Day's smokehouse is also here with deer burritos, boudin, boudin balls, and pork skins!

The Tickfaw 200 is on the bucket list for us too! We will be doing one of these fine events next year: Lotto, Lake Tahoe, or Tickfaw 200 next year, we have not decided? For this year, we have decided to go to the GLOC Shootout in Oklahoma in July.. I am driving, the kiddo is flying to OK. with Mrs. Doc EL Guapo. Thread to follow.

Great photo's. Please keep them coming, and thank you for posting.

Cheers,

Bo

Hmmm...google maps says Tickfaw is a 6 hour drive from Dallas. Not much worse than SoCal to Havasu.

Methinks this event will be our future :)

This is a whole different level of boating. There's cubic dollars in every picture.

I could spectate at one of the watering holes all day. [emoji106]

Does the MTI with a skull on the hatch belong to an NFL player? Looks familiar from DS but I don't remember his having a rudder?

Great pics, looks like a really fun event!

Just can't get over the idea of boating / swimming in that muddy water:yikes! I could see myself riding in one of those bad ass cubic $$$ rigs and hitting every bar tho:D:D

Nope... The 48 at Tickfaw belongs to Bob Bull. Hanesworth had a 48 (Terminator) which was at DS 2011, but he sold that boat years ago. There is also a former NYG player that has a 52MTI, currently listed on OSO.

Doesn't Bob Bull own 3 or 4 or them? He has a 48 and a 52 race boat and I think he also has or had a canopied 52 pleasure all with the same paint.

The Eliminator 36' Coupe will be there next year ... it's quite a run, 200 miles over two days ... 50 miles between some of the card stops :eek

I'm pretty sure the one in photo is his new 8 seat 52' pleasure... The 48' was a 6 seater...

The guy that owns the number 3 open MTI boat has one of the biggest boat houses on Loto. The open MTI is just his pleasure boat with only 1350 Mercs in it, seen it when we were there. Hydro hoists for several cats and a couple v bottoms. And one helluva bar with tv's hanging all over. He is the guy that put his wife in one of his race boats last year at the shootout after Summer ran her Dcb. Bob Bulls wife drove and Randy Scism the owner of Mti throttled. To many cubic DOLLARS $$$$$.

His next door LOTO neighbors were at DS this year. Meet them at the card turn in event.

Three things
1. they drive there boats over here
2. The people are so friendly

And 3. Jeff Ford's little Big 26 Redline shits and gets. This boat is a bad Mofo and gets alot of respect out here..
These pic all from my cell phone, Wendi had the good camera.
