Not sure I completely agree with that. If the perpetrator knew there was a decent chance his intended victim might blow his fucken brains out they wouldn’t be quite as balsy as they currently are. But to your point, they do purposely pick out the easy targets.

I thought the same initially and have heard this quote before but what I think it implies is dont be a soft easy target for them. Take appropriate steps to ensure your safety and your families so dirtbags will think twice before making a move on you.
