Today was a fuckered up day, scheduling, transportation and multiple doctor crap for multiple family members. We all sat down for dinner, and that's a plus. After dinner, perusing RDP saw the thread about the SpaceX launch. Weather was pretty clear, so set an alarm.
Alarm sounded, flipped open the laptop and brought up the web page. 1 minute, 30 seconds
Watched the launch, then about 2 minutes of flight...then me and the kids went out front, and watched in awe.
Pretty impressive. A brilliant mad man and a whole company of gifted geniuses and fabricators. After the last pic, walked back inside just in time to watch the booster land on the barge.
No politics from Musk should overshadow what he and his group can do. He may not have been born here, but what he's doing is as American as anything. They have another launch tomorrow, in Florida. NASA would take a year! Just mind blowing.
