This Sunday is Veteran Suicide Prevention And Awareness Day.

The current society pushes the rainbow month, this history or that...but no info pushed out about this. This bothers me a lot. If you know, you know. Always keep in touch with your vet buddies, of all ages. Keep in touch with anyone you're worried about. If your instincts tell you to worry, there's probably reason.

It ain't a bright and happy subject, but an important one.

In many ways it fits in. People have been told what to make important, and not decide for themselves.

There was also a line she says, to the effect of "wouldn't it be great if everyone realized they are here for a reason". There are too many lost souls that don't see they are, or don't feel needed or even "worthy". Darkness takes a hold that's hard to break free of. When society, more individuals running things, come down on people it's for power of some type. Even that is easier to fight, because we know it's an enemy. When the same darkness tries to take hold within yourself, it can be tragic...no one to show you the enemy isn't truly yourself, no one to lend a hand.

You are correct its a dark subject, but i bet everyone has been touched by it. no shame in asking for help. sometimes you almost have force help people. asking for the help is not easy.
