The Lippert / LCI controller. Replaces the panel that operates all the Trailers systems.
I’ll get back to that.

For the past year we’ve been dealing with the front jacks malfunctioning on our Toy Hauler.

Several times it came close to collapsing on the truck bed.

Then all the jacks failed.

The Mfg kept telling the dealer it was the hydraulic valves getting debris in the fluid system.

For 5 minutes and 8 months over the past year that seemed like the cure by flushing it and replacing valves but like a bad dollar problem kept coming back.

We even drove the 3 hours to the dealer to pick it up and it failed on their truck.

They have a storage lot with new rigs that all failed too.

8 months total sitting in the dealer service dept over the past year. A night mare in that 4 months we tried to use it.

Finally someone with Lippert realized it was wired and programmed for a motor home. A Trailer functions differently and is programmed differently.

They replaced the controller, deleted the issue from the program and it seems it works, but we’ve heard that before.

They’re keeping it another week to make sure, appreciate my patience and now they know how to help everyone else with this mulligan.

The old-style controls panel with the switches and dials worked fine and looked cool and easy to use for anyone.
This system is unnecessary.

Couldn't agree more, I would be much happier with switches.

Thankfully I haven't experienced the hell you have been through (yet?). Hoping they got it right this time for you.

The system on my Heartland has worked perfect for 3 years.

Hope they figure it out for you.

These new trailers are very sensitive to voltage as well. I know two people who own Van Leigh's and they had to purchase some sort of capacitor/voltage regulator deal because the electronic systems are so sensitive to voltage dips and spikes.

Hope your issue is fixed and you dont have to end up jacking up the dealership 😆

This is why I didnt want the hydraulic system KISS
The leveling system is bad ass. I believe if your whole rv is on a tablet style system, then there is issues. But just having auto only leveling is great. We did have to add hydraulic additive because the oil was bypassing the check valve in the rams when extended and making popping sounds, but now nothing. No longer sleep off camber.

Oh I’m sure when it works it’s freaking bad ass. But I have heard so many people complain. Mostly I hear that it leaks down and falls out of level then they get in synced.

RV’s have so many issues the less complicated the better for me. One less thing to go wrong.
