Watched that one yesterday. Intrigued by its history. Would love to sit in it. Very cool

Damn...even a Ford dork has to respect that car! I have a pair of NOS Airheart calipers in the shop...can't think of any old junk to ask in trade though.

Why am I not surprised that you have a pair of those old calipers

Well, it's been a long term addiction. When I got married, my wife laughed at my decor. The mantle had a Thickston 2x2 manifold on it, banked by a pair of Stromberg carbs on each side. The landing at the top of the stairs had the nicest 34 grille I've ever owned, and the curio cabinet had nicknacks like porcelain emblems, 32 3wdw cigar lighters and dual temp gauges.

Always used like trading cards. Somebody would ask if I had something, and I'd ask what they had to trade. Most of us didn't have money, but found what we thought was cool old junk. The past few years, I've had to slow down on buying stuff, and trading. Instead, it's been more like hot rod "savings bonds". Had some medical stuff insurance didn't cover, and even sold some stuff to buy the whizbang scan-tool. Those calipers came from a garage sale out here in Chino Valley 3-4 years ago.
