The Original #197' The Beginning

1974 XH-511 Hondo- The number 197 was appointed to me by NDBA, the hull was named Pass'n Gas. Drag raced a few years in UGF not very competitively. Joined the Pasadena Speedboat Club started ski racing and the rest is history. My apologies for the photograph quality, it too has seen a lot of laps.

the boat in the photo looks like the boat i used to see at the elsinore ski races in the 70/80,s most guys had bigger boats but it was a blast to watch the flatty go by
