Minn is done darnold has been exposed tonight. Detroit D is Awful and Darnold can’t do anything.
He missed a couple red zone throws, everything else has been tight coverage. I think Detroits D is pretty good. Their offense is elite. Detroit is a better team I think. I thought the Viking receivers would have got more open. Credit to Aaron Glen. He called a great game and they came to play.
Detroits entire D is hurt they have given up 32 points a game last 4 weeks and have no DB’s and had more get hurt tonight. Minn is over rated and Darnold will be a backup next year where he belongs.
They only gave up 3 field goals tonight. They may not have performed exceptional, but they were very, very effective. They kept the pass rush pressure on and kept people covered in the secondary.
Harsh! I like Darnold. He had no time to throw. You can’t put that loss on him. I also would have kicked field goals instead of going for it every time Vikings D couldn’t stop Detroit Offense in the second half.
If the assistants are smart theyd stay. All the vacancies are with horrible organizations in my opinion.
You may be right, but Darnold won’t get them to the tiop, IMO.

Thanks for reminding me. I was one of those calling it “a huge mistake.” I’m taking my beating daily from my Detroit buddies about that call.Was reading in one of the local Detroit papers. The 2023 draft when Lions traded up to 12 to take Gibbs, the Vikings were actively trying to trade up at the same time to get Gibbs.
Oh, and all the experts said the Lions made a huge mistake taking Gibbs at 12. He was only a second rounder at best...
I don't follow football enough, so at the time I had no idea who Gibbs was or where he went to school. My son on the other hand was telling me Gibbs was the steal of the draft. In 2023.
