The most wonderful time of the year

If you’re like me, this is the most wonderful time of year, but I think for a lot of people that have issues going on in their life, not that nobody doesn’t, they get very depressed around this time for various reasons. I myself have lost a lot of loved ones over the years and sometimes it’s just depressing thinking about what could’ve been had they not gone to Heaven way too early.

Anyway, I try not to get too emotional and just be grateful and happy for my family and every blessing that I have, but when I do, I listen to this song and it brings me back down to earth.

BTW, Hank Williams Jr is on this track but uncredited. You’ll recognize his voice.

Your statement and song post are timely. Already wound tight for various reasons. 20 minutes ago got out of wife's car, and it has a rod knocking...

The next two weeks are slow with appointments and such. Ordered bearings and gaskets a few minutes ago. I have the money for the bearings, and know how to do them. Still have food to eat and a warm place to sleep. Sometimes I need a reminder, stuff can be worse, always.

Absolutely. It’s my prayer every day that I’ve got the health and wisdom to do the right thing for those around me like my wife and my kids, and so far, God’s kept me going despite anything and everything throughout the years. It’s too easy to forget our blessings and get down on ourselves from time to time but it’s also on us to keep moving forward and keep the faith.

Anyway, I’m just wishing everyone peace and health and happiness this Christmas season with those you love.
