Ariel cars are very cool. Unfortunately, that car would fold all its suspension at the first serious whoop section. Stick to the road, or a fast fire road and have a blast!

Yeah, I just figured I could get a rise out of a couple folks on here, you can actually buy one of these:D
Yea, I haven’t seen that version, but their other versions are sweet !

They have an off-road option with fox shocks, hydro bumps and a winch. I don't know if that's enough to keep up with a speed though.

I really want to drive one of their road/race cars. Funny thing though, I've never seen an Ariel set a fast lap time on any track I've been to. Must be a scary car to drive fast, especially since it's all open.

Why? Care to explain? What are the issues with the suspension? The "radius cage" is actually stronger than any traditional cage

The thing look cool as hell imo

Pricing starts at $92k and it's 2wd, which pretty much confirms my initial thoughts when I saw it, that your typical daily wardrobe is a track suit if you're a buyer of one of these. Just because it is strong doesn't mean it has style or functionality. I'm sure it would be fun to drive in the right terrain, but I'd rather own a mini-trophy truck for half the price. There are such better ways to spend $100k+ to have fun off-road.

on rally style roads, it's hard to imagine any vehicle being more fun than one of those. Closest thing to a modern version of those badass pikes peak buggies from the 80s

They are aerodynamically atrocious!

Yea , the cage looks plenty beefy. It’s just that the suspension isn’t made for hard core off-roading. Not nearly beefy enough for smashing through the desert. If ya go to the Arial website, they have plenty of pics. Much more of a rally/ fire road car.....would be fun none the less.
