I know there’s a few here that are fan boi’s too. 😁

Anyway it’s been noted that we got ours because it’s fast and fairly sporty.
Well, after 45,000 miles it was time for new shoes. 😊

Nice assumption.

Plan on keeping the stockers and mounting dedicated snow tires. 😊
Never driven on studded tires. Some of my more "Climate Challenged" friends say it makes winter driving fairly easy. Makes sense to have the setup. I like the new shoes though!

IMHO, unless you drive on a lot of icy roads, studded tires are overkill. Dedicated cold weather ice and snow tires (like Blizzaks) work just as well.

With AWD and all that weight, Tesla's are pretty good winter driving cars.

Brian, those look great. Are those T-Sportline wheels? You car could really use a chrome delete kit, did mine a while back.

Yes they are. TSR 20” 20x8.5 front. 20x10 rear. Filled in the fender wells nicely.
I wasn’t expecting the satin gray to be as dark as they are. Still like the way it looks and yes the chrome delete would probably tighten up the look.

I'd have to disagree.
Yes, a fresh set of snow tires do work well especially on an AWD but you can't beat snow tires with studs.
I get alot of snow where I live and work ..
No way I'd get up half my clients driveways without studs all the way around on my 2 wheel drive work van.

Those appear to be Mich Pilot Sport 4S tires. I have them on my Camaro and love em --- but on a Tesla Mod 3 ?? Sure they look awesome, but so would the Mich PS All Season 4 tires, that would easily match any handling attributes a Tesla 3 can provide, all while giving you the advantage of a superb rain tire even capable of modest snow ability. Plus, instead of having to replace them at 16K miles max, you'd more than double that.

I'm curious because my son has a Mod 3, and I'm sure we'll be having this conversation eventually. ;)
