The market doesn’t care for it to much.

How much money do you have to have to take delivery directly from Elon?

Need that one kid to run up and yell, "This truck is awesome! What do you do for a living?".

More Tesla over promises and under deliveries.

Any one want to bet against me that the estimated prices will go up and these won’t get the promised range? 😁

If you want one, more power to ya.

I read somewhere yesterday morning that the stock has tanked in upwards of 9% each of the last times they had a release. So I thought to myself, if I read it on the Internet it must be true, and sold my shares. lol

Yep. Every release is the same. More expensive with less range than the hype and the market responds emotionally.

I have always thought it is the ugliest truck I have ever seen. Absolutely ZERO appeal to me.

I hope they come out with their coupe soon. Saw it in the design center. Pretty cool looking.

Just estimated tho!

*Prices assume IRA Federal Tax Credits up to $7,500 for Rear-Wheel Drive and All-Wheel Drive and est. gas savings of $3,600 over 3 years .See Details
Gas savings of 3600. How much will you spend in electricity charging it. Plus the time sitting on your ass waiting for it to charge. Electricity isn't free.

Everything I've seen on these trucks says the fit and finish is horrible. I'd like to see one in person.

If this test is like any of the other demo’s that I’ve seen they paired their all wheel drive version with everyone else’s two wheel drive with non locker rear end. Pretty easy to look like a winner when you get to handicap the competition.

And the F350 was probably a gasser.

Hopefully it tanks all the way back to January lol.
Ford tanking also. That’s kinda backwards?

I think there is definitely initial demand for this truck being that it's new and something completely different than any other car or truck out there. We'll see if it will last. I'm sure this truck will work for most people who "need" a truck just like most people who "need" a jeep lol. People on RDP don't fall in the "most people" category.

Mark my words the truck will sell and people will grow to like the looks.

When a mid level f150 prices out at 60k I think alot of people will feel like the cyber truck is a steal for what you get.

People are so worried about towing and range. How many trucks sold actually tow? How many are driven more than 300miles in one sitting?

I have quite a few friends that have gone the tesla route and they all seem to love it. We have had a couple people drive out to utah from so cal to see us and they have to make a 15 minute stop in vegas for a quick top off. When i go to visit I have to stop once to fill up as well so maybe we are talking a couple minutes in time and a shit load of a difference in cost.

Hate to say it but the truck is growing on me.

I have a buddy, sold his company for into the nine figures, pay a $40,000 premium for the S-Class convertible when it first came out. All so he could have it three months before anybody else and be the first to be seen on the road with one.

I know it doesn’t sound bad after Covid premiums but at the time, it was super stupid.

I'll preface my comment with: I LOVE my 2019 Model 3, so much that I'll be trading it in on a Model Y in 2024 as I think it's the perfect commuter car. Fast, comfortable, and convenient.... This truck is the ugliest piece of shit I've ever seen. It's taken the crown from the Aztek for me. Absolutely zero appeal. Thee stock is already way over-valued and I think this thing is going to bring Elon back to reality, despite the blind fanboys.

Musk is a genius if he can get the order books filled.

The cost to stamp those extremely simple panels is minuscule compared to a traditional complex stamping.

Combined with the Gigapress, it’ll cost him little to manufacture these.

Here was a Rivian at Hells Gate in Moab back in June.

No one around and we never saw it again on the trail.
