Keep It Simple Stupid

I want to replace our t stats with wifi accessible ones but I dont need 1000 different settings or options.
One unit with 2 zones so 2 t stats.

Does anyone have a "simple" wifi tstat they are happy with.

Basic programmable for on/off days and times, and temp setting

I know there are some pretty savy HVAC guys on here.

Been using Emerson Sensi on 4 houses forever. One was having issues after a couple of years, phone call and the new one was on my doorstep two days later. 3 places are within 50 miles, one is 500 miles away. Turn up, down, off, cool, heat, change schedules everything from a phone app anywhere. One never gets changed off its schedule, other is almost changed daily. I'll change the temp from the couch because it's easier then getting up. All 4 places mimic the front of the physical stats on the home page of the phone app at once. Wifi is all you need and it doesn't have to be a good.

The have Wi-Fi t-stat for vehicles now?!?!? That is what I thought by the title and OP. 🤪 🤪 🤪

Honeywell here and it is great once hooked up. We did have to have a couple of conversations with tech support when we hooked it up. It was because of how our house was wired not the t-stat. 👍

We have had a honeywell non touch screen model for over 12 years and I am super happy . Still connects or more important reconnects even through all the power outages at the river.

The $70 one. I’ve had these in every house for over a decade.

I have 2 in our current house, one on each floor.

Limited-time deal: Honeywell Home RTH6580WF Wi-Fi 7-Day Programmable Thermostat https://a.co/d/0xRtQRf
So is this accessible remotely? Or is the only purpose of the WiFi so you don’t have to get off the couch to look at it or bump it up and down a few degrees?

X2 for this model. None of the BS that comes with the nest. It’s a no frills app and t-stat that just does what it’s supposed to. The price was very reasonable as well. I believe around $130. I needed a c wire installed in Havasu. That ran about $200. I did the install at the main house and it was very simple.

It is accessible from anywhere on the planet if you have an internet connection.
We are able to monitor the temp in the house anywhere. We turn it high when we leave then on the road back home we turn it down several hours before we get home so that it cool when we arrive. Friends use it to monitor the kids and how cool they put the temp when the parents leave the house.

I've got one of these also, installed it a couple of years ago. I too had to get a "C" wire, so I bought a spool of wire off Amazon and didn't myself (drop ceiling in the basement made it easy).

Been very happy, was on sale at Menards for $90 and I got a few $ back from the gas company for installing it.
