SXS fire extinguisher mounts

What clamp do you use for your fire extinguisher? I bought this one because it was priced right and looked nice but it’s a little to loose for an off road bracket.

Yea the Axia one is what I have too. It is pricey but really nice. It does not rattle at all.

I use the one from FOA but remember that most will have a little wiggle that’s because that allows they to be removed easily. An extinguisher that you cannot get off quickly in an emergency is just for looks at that point. It’s as good as this guys hose!!!

There are small set screws in the Dragon Fire mount, I have the same one. No rattle. Did the Calico to Stateline ride. 220 miles, and still tight.

They make sizes for extinguisher, flashlights, etc.. Solid rubber, does not rattle at all and under $15.

Axia Alloy. Trail and fire tested tough.

I used mine to put out my buddy's burning RZR last year in the Shasta NF. Broke the fuel line elbow at the rail and had flames 5 feet over the top of the car. I was following, yelled fire on the radio and he had the presence of mind to turn the ignition off. If he hadn't, the fuel pump would have continued to fuel the fire, we would have had a fully involved car and a major forest fire on our hands.

Every car needs a fire extinguisher, in a mount that's solid, accessible and makes using the extinguisher easy. My Axia did the job.

Not sure what brand mine is but I got it at Havasu powersports - can am dealer. It has 2 o rings to keep the slop out of the quick release part.

I liked it so much I bought another one.
