Supercharged LSA marine engine

Hey guys looking for some help on this. Anyone have any info on the supercharged LSA marine engine? I’m looking at a 2011 magic with one in it. I haven’t even heard of that engine before. Are they pretty good? Reliability? The boat has 260 hours so relatively low but would I just have to throw the motor away if it had problems and put in a merc? Any info is appreciated

Honestly, hadn't heard good or bad about a package like that.

If it is a true LSA engine it should be fine. Gm built plenty of them. And most took the abuse.

obviously that was one of the LBYS hulls that was rigged by who knows, so you might want to check that out.

Supposedly this boat was built by Tony when he owned magic and this was his boat show display that year. I’m just going off what the boat owner is telling me

550hp i believe they were, and make good tq. I have t heard anything bad at all about them, was looking deep into them a few years ago for my last boat. Lighter higher revving package
