I don't know who owns my fucking panels.... But they Sunpower went belly up last year. They canceled my automatic payments and were crying about setting up new payments so I did, and its been a nightmare of fucked up payments ever since. So I canceled my autopay... and it still comes out of my bank. Different amounts. Now Feburary it came out twice. The website I use to log into since the bankruptcy no longer works, and the launch llc website wont let me log in who was collecting payment.

Reading online, sunpower customers haven't been able to get any one to service their panels, so basically no warranty. I assumed this solar system with the purchase of my house. I think I'm going to just tell my bank to reverse the transaction and tell them see you in court.

I don't think it is going to work out for any of the existing solar customers for sunpower.

Built my house in 2019 with sunpower system in a lease, only choice i could afford at that time ha wish i didnt but besides that. My transition to sunstrong was seamless and no problems with auto payments or anything, knock on wood.

I was actually hoping to see if there would be an options to buy my lease during this whole bk thing

Might be time to open new checking and savings accounts and close your current ones. If you’re not getting bills, clear instructions on how to pay etc I don’t think I’d be comfortable with “random” withdrawals.

Currently sunpower has no one to service their systems if anything goes wrong... they tell their customers reach out to your installers or go through the manufacturers warranty

My 80 year old Dad just got put together on a solar salesman deal walking door to door. I'm not even going to try to explain all the shadiness and scummy shit in that industry. I'm like, go for it Dad.
