Honestly I get all our beef and chicken from Joel. He doesn’t really do sales unless someone backs out of a 1/4 or 1/2 at the last second.

Before Joel though I know there was constant debates over which store had the best beef etc.

I would be interested in learning what decent prices are.. I never really shopped like that. If it was tritip night I’d just go buy tritips etc.. lol

From a quality standpoint, Joel blows away market prices. His ground beef would be double the cost per pound at the store. They mark up grass fed / organic meat like crazy.

How long is beef good in the freezer ? Secondly do you have to put it in anything special so it does not get freezer burn ?

If it is vaccum sealed, it lasts pretty long and no freezer burn.

Vintage aged meat from Ralph's. You won't find any better outside a high end steak house.

Prime from Costco is pretty good. Mother’s day, Christmas they sell the whole prime bone in ribeye. Runs about $200-$250.

We get 40 to 50 pounds of the ground beef at a time, never had an issue with it sitting in the butcher paper in the freezer. Started sealing it all, but found it wasn’t necessary.

Bought a 1/4 the first time around, was great but just too much for us.
