Howdy RDP brain trust…wife got me a new head unit and Infinity Kappa door speakers and sub for our 05 Dodge Quadcab. Looking for a solid installer to do a clean install. Nothing nutty for the end result just a clean sounding system.
I’m in Agua Dulce but willing to travel a little for the right person. Thanks for any recommendations.

If I remember right there is a good shop in Santa Clarita but I can’t remember the name. I’ll see if I can figure it out.

Much appreciated! I was going to post this in the Truck section but I feel like I’d get more traffic in the Lounge

Do NOT go to the shop on Soledad/Ruether, they are hacks. They installed a new stereo in my Topcat and used plumbers tape for the rear support. Then didn’t even put a nut in the stud coming out of the rear of the stereo. I went back to bitch about it and he brings a coffee can of misc. nuts and bolts and has me pick one that I think will fit. I had to redo it all myself, which I didn’t want to have to do.

Sorry I don’t have any suggestions on where to go.

Another vote for Soundstations. He’s not on Main St anymore, not sure where he moved to.

Another recommendation for Soundstations in Valencia. This March they upgraded my speakers in my 2024 GMC Sierra, also added an LOC, 2 amplifiers and a subwoofer. Clean and professional install and reasonably priced. Very happy with their work.

I’m pretty sure when I was looking to get some work I narrowed it down to these guys

I was not a huge fan of their customer service when I walked in there for a new stereo system upgrade. Based on that I didn't go back and won't use them for anything.

Thanks Hammer for your input!
Of Course.

For what its worth, Soundstations did the install on my truck. Basic head unit, sub and an amp. no complaints, it was a basic install though. That was like 5 years ago at there old location.

I may bring them my motorhome at some point......

If you do go there, talk to Danny the owner, and tell him you want it done right and no shortcuts. He doesn’t do the work anymore, he has young guys that work for him doing the installs.

Fk.. I hope you’re not referring to Xtreme Motorsports just North of that corner on the East side of Soledad. They have my CTS-V Cadi and are installing a module to augment the existing Bose system to use Bluetooth, Apple play, etc without changing the existing pop up nav/back up camera display and controls, including the controls on the steering wheel. They are concealing the module control in the ashtray recess and he claims it will look factory. He’s also doing a full ceramic tint on the glass. Wish I would have saw this post earlier. Guess we’ll see how it goes.

I use an Indy Mechanic a few doors down that just finish replacing the fuel pumps (it’s a bitch because they had to drop the rear sub assembly, exhaust and tank), installed a Borla cat back exhaust set up, an Airaide cold air intake and some fairly slick bigger ZL1 type knock off wheels and tires. Xtreme was convenient since I didn’t have to be there to do the drop off.

None the less, the car is really starting to look and sound (at least the exhaust) pretty good.

Danny retired and sold the business to one of his employees.

Yes that’s the place I’m talking about. They did the work on my boat years ago so maybe things have changed there. I was so pissed that I vowed never to go there again. Maybe stop by and monitor their work?

Wow I didn’t know that. I know Danny was frustrated with the City when they kicked him out of his old location on Main St.

Not SCV but close enough in Agoura Hills, Agoura Autosounds. I have known Jaime for 20+yrs and he is one of the best around winning several impressive awards. His work is over the top but mainly works on full custom stuff. Lots of cool pics on his IG @agouraautosounds

There are definitely a ton of hacks out there so choose wisely.

Yep. I worked with Anthony and Jordan to design the system and pick the components. Both were extremely knowledgeable.

No problem rolling to Agoura Hill but is his prices Agoura Hills prices? 😁
